Arguing

Assalamuaikum. Just wanna share what I had read.

One of the biggest obstacles that we *all* have to face from the time to time is dealing with "Confrontation". And most of us can't stand it!! Fact is, you're not going to be able to 'win' every time ...and some people are so stubborn that they'll argue till they're blue in the face - even when they KNOW they are wrong! Do you know someone like this? I certainly do! In fact, many years ago...I was this person! Call it stubborn pride, call it ridiculous... whatever label you give it - there is ONE thing I can tell you with absolute 100% certainty: This behavior will inevitably result in a clash. If you ever find yourself on the receiving end of this stubbornness (or even if *you* are the stubborn one) -- the best way to move through the situation is to be "assertive". Assertive people are not rude, mean, cruel, and insensitive. Assertive people do not project a callous disrespect and disregard for everyone around them.

Assertive people merely project their own humble awareness of their inherent worth; and everyone is worthwhile -even you.Respect for other people, empathy for their feelings, and recognition of their worth are all underpinnings of an assertive personality. Resentment, frustration, impatience, and anger all 'cloud' what could be a purely assertive act. So, what's the "trick" then? Whenever possible... waiting to speak or act until you can do it from a place of Calm Respect - f'ree of resentment, frustration, impatience, and anger, will transform the situation into one where everybody wins.

By the same token, simply 'waiting out' your negative feelings without taking measures to relieve yourself of them can lead to a build-up of negative emotions. This dangerous phenomenon is known as the "pressure-cooker" syndrome... When unexpelled negative emotions build up to the point where we "blow our top" -- usually in the wrong place at the wrong time and directed at the wrong people, in any case doing more harm than good.Being Genuinely Assertive requires being responsible for your thoughts and feelings... Being responsible for your thoughts and feelings does "not" mean blaming and unloading on others. It means 'taking responsibility' for the thoughts andfeelings we have and acting responsibly in accordance with them. In the case of the "pressure cooker" syndrome... it's our resentment and frustration with ourselves for 'putting up' with an unpleasant and intolerable scenario that leads to our inappropriate outbursts. It's ourselves we're mad at; not the other person. So don't take it out on them. Deal with the one responsible: yourself. Then and 'only' then can you deal responsibly with anything outside yourself. The Exciting News Is... Once you learn the ability to express your feelings respectfully and proactively, you'll no longer lose control to stubborn pride or inappropriate emotional outbursts. These are the qualities of being truly assertive.

Travelling, Study

Too much stories is in my heart. For the first, Al-fatihah to Mohd Farhan (Paan Lee), blogger's friend. He had passed away after hari raya. Good boy had returned to Allah S.W.T.

I just want to share about my travelling for three days. The 5 researchers (also my ex-lecturers) and I went to Quality Hotel for " research- instrument workhsop". It is not easy without any commitment for the research (busy). They are an excellent lecturers. I like the way they are thinking...By the way, I had arranged to go there, about budgeting, paperwork, invoice, approval from research management...it is my learning process. Definitely, I'm proud to see the research will success. What,....my bos and I had planned, become reality. Before this, I had plan to work as research assistant with my lecturers. Allah was listen to me. Thanks God!. Untill today, it means I had work 4 month with him, Dr.Nasir. He is (my bos (now), my ex-lecturer taught me alots. Thanks Dr! I feel in love about the research...enjoy and interesting...

Quality Hotel at KL is near by Sogo in the middle of the town. Best accomodation... I think. My stomach always full. Omai God!Comfortable room is the most important...But, I will go to counselling setting soon...I will let the research..Sad but happy (unstable feeling right?).About my master study also in the process....just trust in God...I had success for interview, counselor will be....(will go for further study + work ).

Miss this blog damn much. Before let my fingers to do another work..I wanna tell you that this blog is still for my "english learning" but, I will put and sharing about the crafting, cooking, traveling too. It is my new hobbies like felt, sewing, and card craft. Thanks to bloggers for your concern and now I still find the materials to start my crafting. I think it is quite easy to learn as long as you're interested to do what do you like. Enjoy yourself and say " BUSY PERSON CAN ENJOY CRAFTING". It's my first try... I am shock that many woman like felt craft. Here are information about the felt that I am searching google. Read this..

Felt is a non-woven cloth that is produced by matting, condensing and pressing woolen fibres. While some types of felt are very soft, some are tough enough to form construction materials. Felt can be of any colour, and made into any shape or size.

Many cultures have legends as to the origins of feltmaking. Sumerian legend claims that the secret of feltmaking was discovered by Urnamman of Lagash. The story of Saint Clement and Saint Christopherrelates that while fleeing from persecution, the men packed their sandals with wool to prevent blisters. At the end of their journey, the movement and sweat had turned the wool into felt socks.

Feltmaking is still practised by nomadic peoples in Central Asia and northern parts of East Asia, where rugs,tents and clothing are regularly made. Some of these are traditional items, such as the classic yurt, while others are designed for the tourist market, such as decorated slippers. In the Western world, felt is widely used as a medium for expression in textile art as well as design, where it has significance as an ecological textile.

Construction

Felt is made by a process called wet felting, where the natural wool fibre is stimulated by friction and lubricated by moisture (usually soapy water), and the fibres move at a 90 degree angle towards the friction source and then away again, in effect making little "tacking" stitches. Only 5% of the fibres are active at any one moment, but the process is continual, and so different 'sets' of fibres become activated and then deactivated in the continual process.

No time, no blogging.Huh!

By the way, the practicum is over. I'm waiting for my graduation day. Now, I need to prepare for my new "task". National Reasearch Innovative Competition (NRIC) is around the corner. I'm the one. Thank God, because gives me the chances, and I got the silver medal for "Research Student's Innovation 2010". And now I believe my life will change and I hope my dream will be come true.

Tomorrow, I will go to UPSI and 25th May 2010, I will be at USM. Wish me luck. I always saying that " Saya berhak peroleh apa yang saya inginkan, kerana telah 23 tahun saya berusaha untuk mencapai keinginan dan cita-cita saya. Saya yakin pada Allah, kasihankan orang-orang yang rajin berusaha". Succes and failure is normal. As a human, we must effort and struggle till the end of life. Believe in yourself.

Now, I'm staying at Meru, Kapar, Klang before going to UPSI.

For a long time I did not write any words for this blog. Now I'm big hearted to appreciate my younger brother because was put the best for STPM. Lastly, he get what he want, CGPA 3.58. Well done!I'm the eldest and I'm the role model to my brothers. This is the first step for you to follow others steps and never look back. I hope you will be someone soon and I hope my brother will always succes in his life. She has taken some pretty major steps in her life to make it come true....She left her fulltime job so she can go and study jewelry design. She did that without having any job to go to, or even without having been accepted into the course. It takes real "guts" to be able to follow your dream and to make it happen. It all starts with a dream....

AIM AND MEMORIES NEVER DIES

Assalamualaikum.

Hye to all bloggers. My finger miss so much to dance on this blog. I'm staying at Tanjong Malim for this semester break. I got a job. Truely, I don't like if I did not spend my time wisely and let my time fly away. I have many plans before I leave UPSI. It is not mean I'm not love my family and leave my hometown. Love so much to stay at home. But I have planning. Now, I'm working at Institut Peradaban Melayu, UPSI. Experience is everything in the process to be a good human. I need to make evolution for myself. I'm working here because I want to decipline myself. I always late to class while I was a student in UPSI. So, I'm trying to motivate and train back myself to be more dicipline before I'm in my field; practicum. I like to think out of the box as long I will aim my focus. But, in planning my future, I need to arrange my steps smoothly. Many hopes and dreams I want to archieve. So, what I have do and to do now is, none stop to learn. It is values added for myself.

I'm aware that I'm the eldest. I have many responsibilities to my family. My father was pass away and I have the only one, My mum. I have two brothers and I come from moderate family. My father taught me to survive myself and be more indipendent. So, I learn alots from my father. I don't want to look back to grasp my aim. Truely, I want to be someone in educational field. The carier that I want to archieved is "professional lecturer" soon. I love to join the research and education. So, I need to focus well. So, I hope Allah will give me a hand to myself. InsyaALLAH. I want my brothers also success. I want to grasp my father's dreams. I'm always pray for myself, my parent, my sibling, my teachers and lecturers and my friends too. I hope we will success with barakah. InsyAllah.

What I need to focus is:

1. My job as editor (with a writer), and to get my income (Institut Peradaban Melayu)
2. My plan with Faiz to make research in writing and my lecturer will help us too (for my part is "HUBUNGAN MANUSIA DENGAN PENCIPTA)
3. Learn English (learning by writing via blog's medium)

I will spend my time wisely. I can feel that my dreams will come true. InsyAllah...!!!

And for practicum, I will survive..InSyaALLAH!

Truely, I am very sad because I can't together with my comrades to come to the class as routine. It is the last semester for us. This night Bakrie, Fauzi, Jehan, Kak Sarah,Kamal, Mail and I will go to KFC. Tomorrow they will back to home. Memories with them I can't forget and others too.
